Assamese Transcription:
Appen Butler Hill (www.appenbutlerhill.com) is looking for native speakers of Bengali and Assamese. The work will involve listening to audio recordings of speech and typing in Bengali or Assamese what is said or fixing the given in the original Bengali or Assamese text to match the audio. Work is on a flexible basis (minimum availability 20 hours per week).
The work will be provided to successful candidates via our online transcription tool, AppenScribe.
Requirements:
- Fluent in Bengali or Assamese, i.e. native speakers from West Bengal, Bangladesh and Assam. Applicants from other locations welcome.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of English, as instructions will be in English.
- Basic computer knowledge and typing skills in Bengali or Assamese.
- Have own computer and Internet connection with the latest version of Firefox 3 and Flash Player (links provided to install these).
