You will be able to create job searches using 'Job Alert', which
will e-mail you with possible job opportunities. Registering is
also valuable to the job seeker because you receive access to additional
information in the database of job postings after you register at
Jobs-bank.

Yes, all of the information sent to Jobs-bank remains confidential.

Why can't I log in with my username and password?
Make sure that you have entered your Username and Password correctly.
Other possibilities:
Make sure you are logging into the right place. There are separate
login screens for job seekers and employers.
Your username and password are case sensitive. Make sure you entered
the correct case.

I have lost my password. What do I do?
If you are a job seeker , click on the 'forgot my password' link
on the login page to retrieve your username and password. You should
enter your E-mail address and have your username and password sent
to you. Click here to get your

How do I edit my account?
You must be logged in to edit your account. After logging in,
click on My Account link on top right side.

How do I change my password?
You must be logged in to change your password. After logging in,
click on the 'My Account ' link on top right side and enter your
new password there.

What should I do when I encounter an error message?
If the error message instructs you to do something (e.g., 'Fill
in required fields before submitting form'), please follow the instructions
on your screen.
If the error message says 'Server is busy', please try again later.
If you get a different error message, please e-mail

I have logged into Jobs-bank, but when
I try and access my account, it sends me back to the login page.
What do I do?
Most likely you have not enabled Cookies. Your computer is having
trouble remembering who you are. If you do not have these activated,
then the system will not give you access to your own account, hence
you will not be able to make changes to your account. Click
here to set up your browser to accept Cookies.
If you still have trouble accessing your account, you will need
to make sure that you have emptied your Cache and are checking for
new versions of pages on every visit. Click

How do I create an online resume?
You must register before creating an online resume. Once you have
registered, you should click the 'Create / Edit Resume' link in
the left menu under jobseekers.

When I try to submit my resume I get a
'you did not fill out all the required fields' error message. What
did I do?
If you did not fill out all the fields that are marked as required
then you will not be able to submit your resume. We suggest filling
out ALL fields, as the more information you give, the greater the
chance of a successful employer match.
How can I post more than one resume?
To avoid confusion, you cannot post more than one resume with
the same username. This will affect the integrity of our resume
database for our member companies, and for this reason we do not
offer this option. If you need another account.
How do I find my resume and send it to the
jobs of interest?
You must be logged in to view and/or edit your resume. After logging
in, click on the 'Create/Edit Resume' link.
When you apply for a position, your Jobs-bank resume will be
automatically sent to the Company (abiding by Jobs-bank privacy
terms).

I cannot locate 'View Resume' or 'Edit Resume'.
Where is it?
You must log in before you can view or edit your resume. After
logging in, click on the 'Create/Edit Resume' link in the menu under
jobseekers.

Why have I not received any job matches?
Unfortunately, there might not be any jobs available that match
your criteria. Another possibility is that your job search criteria
are too narrow and need to be broadened.

How do I know if any companies have viewed
my resume?
You must be logged in to view your resume statistics. After logging
in, click on the 'Application History' link in the menu.

How can I find out who has accessed my resume?
We do not make that information available to the job seeker. Along
with protecting your privacy, we protect the privacy of the companies.
The companies will contact you if your qualifications meet their
needs. If a company requests your resume through our site, you will
receive an e-mail message notifying you. You will also be able to
view this information by clicking on the 'Application History' link
after logging in.

How do I delete my resume and remove myself
from the system?
You cannot delete your registration information. However, we periodically
e-mail users to ask whether they wish to be deleted from our system.
By responding to this e-mail, you are requesting us to delete your
registration information from our database.

When I apply for a position, how do I know
that they have received my resume?
When you apply for positions on Jobs-bank, your resume posted
on our site will be automatically sent to the employer. If there
is a potential match between your background and experience, a Human
Resources representative or a Hiring Manager from that company will
contact you to arrange an interview. Please do not call Jobs-bank.
Most companies posting with Jobs-bank will acknowledge the receipt
of your resume with an automatic e-mail.
The companies that post jobs with us have complete control over
their job postings and the way in which they choose to contact applicants.
Just as we respect the privacy of the job seeker's information,
we also respect the privacy of a company's contact information.
The purpose of online recruiting is to make the process as simple
as possible for both job seekers and companies.

Click on the 'Search Jobs' link and follow the instructions.

How do I apply for a job?
You must log in to apply for a job. Search the job postings and
carefully read the responsibilities and qualifications. When you
find a job that you would like to apply for, click on 'Quick Apply
Members' on top right of the page. The system will search for your
resume profile and resume. If you do not have a resume profile in
our database, you will be taken to the online resume profile form.
Once you have a resume profile in our system, you will be given
the option of adding a resume (if you don't have one) or editing
your resume before applying. Once you are satisfied with your information
in our system, choose the 'Apply Now' option. Your resume will be
mailed to the company.
If there is a potential match between your background and experience,
a Human Resources representative or a Hiring Manager from that company
will contact you to arrange an interview.

Why were my search results empty?
Below are a few reasons that might explain an empty search result:
- Too detailed in your search criteria. You might need to broaden
your search.
- Misspelled keywords. Check the spelling of the keywords that
you entered.
- The position is not on Jobs-bank.

How many jobs am I allowed to apply for?
There is no limit. You can apply for as many positions as you
want.
Please do not apply for the same position multiple times. The
companies that post jobs with us have complete control over their
job postings and the way in which they choose to contact applicants.

What is the Personal Search Agent?
The Personal Search Agent allows you to save multiple job searches
using search criteria specific to you. The Search Agent will e-mail
you with new jobs that meet your saved personal search criteria.

Only registered job seekers can create a Personal Search Agent.
Once you have registered, click the 'Personal Search Agent' link.
Then click 'Add Search' to create a search. You will be able to
preview your search results. If you are satisfied, click 'Save Search'.
Now you have created your Personal Search Agent.

How do I modify my Personal Search Agent?
After logging in, click the 'Job Alert' link to view your saved
searches. Modify the options presented as you wish. Click 'submit'
to save the Alert .

No. But you can broden the search by editing the job alert as

How long and how often will I receive e-mails
from my Personal Search Agent?
Personal Search Agent will e-mail you weekly with new jobs for
each saved search. You will continue to receive e-mails until you
delete the search, or until the search expires.

How do I cancel the Personal Search Agent?
You can cancel Your Personal Search Agent by deleting all your
saved searches. After logging in, click the 'Personal Search Agent'
link to view your saved searches. Then click the 'Delete' link for
each search in your list. Or, you can simply wait until your searches
expire. or reply to Job alert with Remove in subject of the e-mail.
